ATU housing organizers will collaborate with Astoria Electeds, including Assembly District 36, to present a series of tenants rights teach-ins for Astoria tenants. Teach-ins will cover 2024 Rent Guidelines, How to Organize a Tenant Association, Making Demands to Your Landlord, and How to Navigate Housing Court.

Tonight’s training is titled Taking Demands to Your Landlord and What If You’re in Housing Court. ATU will educate tenants on making collective demands to landlords and how to navigate housing court.

ATU housing organizers will collaborate with Astoria Electeds, including Assembly District 36, to present a series of tenants rights teach-ins for Astoria tenants. Teach-ins will cover 2024 Rent Guidelines, How to Organize a Tenant Association, Making Demands to Your Landlord, and How to Navigate Housing Court.
